Buy-back Pricing :

The buy-back price the bookstore pays for books is determined mainly by two factors. If the books will be used again at MHC and we need the books for our stock, we will pay up to 50% of the current list price. If we cannot buy your books for our stock, a national wholesale company will offer you wholesale pricing. These lower prices are not set by the college bookstore. The national wholesale company, which buys and repairs old books, sets prices for such wholesale book buys.

Non-Returnable Books:

Old Editions
Workbooks Which Have Been Written In
Books in Poor Condition
Books with Covers and Pages Missing
Honor Policy:

During book buy-back, students are expected to sell books which were purchased through proper transactions, whether it be through the bookstore or another source. Students who sell back books which rightfully do not belong to them will be fined a minimum of $100.00 plus restitution (Code of Student Conduct, Part I, Section E).
